Wabash JH Volleyball Takes Maconaquah

The 7th and 8th Grade Wabash Volleyball Teams defeated host Maconaquah last night. The Lady Apache 7th Grade Team emerged victorious in a 3 game match, squeaking by in the first game 25-23, falling 19-25 in the second game, and winning  the third game 15-7. The 7th grade team is now 13-1-1.

Sam Irgang led the 7th grade team with (12) Service Points, including (6) Aces, (7) Kills, a Block, a Dig, an Assist, (4) Service Receptions, and (4) Target Service Receptions. Abby Vinopal had (9) Service Poiints, including an Ace, (4) Kills, (2) Blocks, an Assist, (3) Digs, (2) Service Receptions and (4) Target Service Receptions. Tabby Wagner had (5) Service Points, including an Ace, a Kill, (2) Digs, (2) Service Receptions, and a Target Pass. Brooke Irgang had (10) Assists, (5) Digs, (3) Target Passes, (2) Kills, and a Service Point. Kiley Stone had (5) Assists, (2) Kills, (2) Target Passes, and a Service Point. Mckenzie Hayslett had (4) Digs, a Kill, an Ace, a Target Pass, and (3) Service Receptions. Kaylee Graf had (3) Target Passes, (2) Service Receptions, a Dig , and a Service Point. Kailynn Richardson had a Service Reception.
Tristan Vigar led the 8th grade team with (7) Service Points, (2) Aces, (2) Kills. Alexis Hartley had (4) Service Points, (4) Aces, and (5) Assists. Kaitlyn Mollett had (5) Service points, and (3) Aces. Breanne Sewell had (5) Kills, and (4) Digs. Morgan Owens had (4) Digs. The 8th grade team is now 7-6-2.
The Wabash 7th and 8th Grade Volleyball Teams will travel to Warsaw High School, on Saturday, October 12th, to compete in the Lakeview 7th and 8th Grade Volleyball Invitational. Start time for matches will be at 8:30 a.m.
