Manchester JH Volleyball Tops Valley

The Manchester 7th grade volleyball team lost to Tippecanoe Valley Wednesday evening 19-25, 20-25.  The team was led by Kasi Casper with 8 points and 2 aces.  Halie Wampler & Emma West each had 6 points, Anna Osborne had 2 points, and Greta Auler had 1 point.  The team finishes its season Saturday, 10/19, at the Running Rivers Conference Tournament hosted by Southwood.
The 7th grade B team beat Tippecanoe Valley 25-23.  The team was led by Kennidy Lauer with 4 points, followed by Halie Wampler with 3 points.  Kelsey Eichenauer and Tiara Lincoln each had 1 point.
The Manchester 8th grade volleyball team snapped a 4 match losing streak by defeating Tippecanoe Valley 25-10; 25-19.

Mattie McKee had 8 service points with 3 aces. Kendra Auler had 8 service points with 1 ace. Sydney Day had 7 service points with 1 ace. Alicia Fields had 5 service points. Paige Wagoner had a great defensive game.
In the B contest:
Manchester defeated Valley 25-20. Alexis Tharp had 4 service points with 1 ace. Alyssa West had 3 service points with 1 ace. Erika Kendall and Emma Casper each recorded 1 ace. Emily Mize did a nice job running the offense. The team showed lots of hustle, making several great defensive plays.
The Lady Squires finish their season at Southwood on Saturday, October 19th with the Running Rivers Conference Tourney.
