Two games were played Thursday in the National League with the Cubs and the Red Sox playing in game one, then the Blackhawks and A’s in game two.
In game one the Cubs topped the Red Sox 15-6. For the Cubs Joseph Leland went the distance on the mound for the win. Bryant Boggs had three hits which included two doubles. Trenton Daughtry and Justin Holley each had a triple with Bryce Kamphues hitting a double. Jasper Walter, Joseph Leland, Jesse Allison, Mason Dillon, Nathan Lehner and Kaleb Gidley all had hits. For the Red Sox Nate Drancik was on the mound. Getting base hits for the Sox were Drancik, Peyton Sodervick, Colton Learned, Peyton Deeter and Kaden Rathbun. Drancik and Rathbun each had a double.
In game two the A’s beat the Blackhawks 11-10. For the A’s Drew Cooper had two hits with an rbi double. Tray Goodwin had two singles. For the Blackhawks Mason Yentes had a double. Braydon Yeakle had a two run single.

WINNING PITCHER WAS PARKER ALTHOUSE WITH 5K IN 2-1/3 INNING!
