Manchester’s 7th grade volleyball team opened their season with a win Tuesday at home versus Peru. The Squires won 25-7, 25-7. Manchester was lead by Mackenzie Day with 13 points, 3 aces & 2 digs. Lydia Greer added 12 points on 7 aces, Andrea Kahn had 7 points on 5 aces, and Kyrsten Eakright had 2 points on 1 ace.
The Manchester 8th grade volleyball team opened their season at home with a win over Peru, 25-10, 25-11. Kasi Casper served 15 points with 9 aces. Casper also added 1 kill and 1 assist. Emma West served 7 points with 4 aces. As libero, West lead the team’s defense with 2 digs. Kelsey Eichenaur and Halie Wampler each served 4 points with 3 aces. Wampler added 3 kills. Anna Osborne served 3 points with 1 ace and tallied 2 kills and 2 assists. Morgan Stroud had 2 service points. Kennidy Lauer and Greta Auler also added solid defensive play.
The Lady Squires travel to Indian Springs on Thursday, September 4th for a 4:45 match.
