Wildcats Take A Bite Out Of Squires

A week after defeating Tippecanoe Valley the Manchester offense struggled in a 42-7 loss to Whitko Friday.

Whitko would quite the Manchester crowd early when they scored twice in the first quarter, converting a two point play on one of the scores to grab a 15-0 lead at the end of one.

Whitko would extend their lead to 21-0 before the Squires hit pay dirt for the first time. Manchester got on the board in the second when Lucas Schilling found Daniel Griese for an 18yd scoring strike to cut the lead to 21-7 by the half.

It was all Whitko in the second half as the Wildcats score 7 points in the third and 13 in the fourth for the 42-7 final.

Lucas Schilling was 13 of 26 for 125yds, 1TD. Schilling also ran 11 times for 2yds. Jacob Casper rushed 8 times for 14yds. Keelan Norwood had 5 catches for 62yds. Evan Milam added 3 catches for 21yds, Bailey Ness 3 for 19yds, Daniel Griese 2 for 23yds.
