Wabash JH Volleyball Tops Peru

The Wabash Middle School’s 7th & 8th Grade Volleyball Teams traveled to Peru for their 1st away matches of the season. Both Wabash teams won over Peru in 2 sets. Scores for the Wabash 7th Grade team were 25-10/25-16, they are now 2-2. Final scores for the Wabash 8th Grade match were unavailable, they are 4-0 to start the season.

Leading the way for the 7th grade team was:
Taylor Johnson with (14) Service Points, including (7) Aces, a Dig and a Service Reception.
Carmen Higdon with (6) Service Points including (4) Aces, (2) Kills, and a Service Reception.
Lexi Westendorf with (6) Service Points, including (3) Aces, and a Service Reception.
Sydnee Osborn with (3) Aces, a Dig, a Service Reception, and (2) Assists.
Hailey Dean with (5) Service Points, including an Ace.
Delaney Truman with (3) Service Points, including (2) Aces, and a Service Reception.
Shayna Morgan had a Dig.
For the 8th grade team:
Brooke Irgang had (14) Service Points, including (12) Aces, (4) Digs, (5) Assists, and (2) Kills.
Kaylee Graf had (6) Service Points, including an Ace, and a Service Reception.
Sam Irgang had (5) Service Points, including (3) Aces, (3) Kills, (3) Service Receptions, and (2) Digs.
Mckenzie Hayslett had (5) Service Points, including an Ace, a Kill, an Assist, and (2) Service Receptions.
Abby Vinopal had (4) Service Points, including (3) Aces, (2) Kills, and a Service Reception.
Kiley Stone had (3) Service Points, (2) Assists, and a Service Reception.
Tabby Wagner had a Kill, a Dig and a Service Reception.
Cali Bonfitto and Jessica Dederick each had a Service Reception.
The WMS 7th & 8th Grade Volleyball teams are back in volleyball action this coming Wednesday, traveling to N. Miami.
