The Manchester boys and girls soccer teams shut out Whitko Wednesday with the boys winning 8-0 and the girls 3-0.
Colin McNeeley was a one man wrecking crew, scoring six goals in the game. McNeeley scored four of his goals in the first half with assist coming from Braydon Sewell and Chancynn Giddens. Braydon Sewell would score the other two goals in the first half with an assist coming from Nathan Self. McNeeley would score two more times in the second half.
Two school records were set in the boys game. Colin McNeeley’s six goals is a new single game record, while Rainer Borgmann now has 17 shut outs which is also a school record.
The Manchester girls would get all three of their goals in the first half with two coming from Elizabeth Anguilm. Anguilm scored on a penalty kick and was assisted by Allison Smith on the second. Tahnee Fuentes scored the third Squire goal on a Morgan McKee assist.
