Southwood JH Defeats Peru

The Southwood 7th grade volleyball team got past Peru 25-8, 25-17 Thursday.

Britaney Bailey 8 service points, 7 aces; Jayda Barnum 1 service point, 1 assist; Cerenna Eakright 5 service points, 1 ace; Victoria Holloway 2 service points,; Madison Johnson   2 service point, 1 aces; Erin Lehner 4 service point, 2 aces, 2 kills, 1 digs; Kayla Mays 2 service points, 2 aces, 1 kill, 1 digs; MaKenna Pace 10 service point, 3 aces, 1 dig; Kirsten Pescenye 3 service points, 1 ace,1 kill; MaKenna Proffitt  3 assists, 1 kill, 1 digs; Allison Steele 1 service point, 1 ace, 6 digs; Hally Sweet 2 assists, 1 kill; Jaeden Younce 2 service points.

The 8th grade defeated Peru 25-10, 25-12.

On the night Jessica Brubaker had 4 digs; Noell Gottschlak had 6 service points, 3 kills, 5 aces, 3 digs; Alissa Pershing had 17 service points, 2 kills, 1 assist, 6 aces, 3 digs; Kassity Simpson had 2 service points, 1 assist, 1 ace; Keagan Simpson had 6 service points, 4 kills, 6 aces; Trinidy Wyatt had 2 service points, 1 kill, 1 assist, 1 ace; and Paige Young had 5 service points, 3 assists, 2 aces for the 3 and 1 8th grade. The 8th Grade will return to the court on Saturday, September 20 when they travel to Wapahani for the Wapahani Invitational.
