Manchester JH Volleyball Defeats Indian Springs

The Manchester 7th grade volleyball team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 25-21, 25-22 win over Indian Springs Stars Thursday afternoon.  The team was led by Lydia Greer, who had 5 kills, 6 points and 1 ace and Mackenzie Day, who had 7 points, 1 ace and 5 assists.  Sarah Pegg added 4 points on 1 ace and Andrea Kahn had 3 points all on aces, 1 kill and 1 dig.  Samantha Kissell had 2 points and 2 assists, Kyrsten Eakright had 2 kills, and Ranissa Shambarger had 1 ace.  Tayler Ayres, Rebekah Pyle, Addie Haecker & Kaitlin Easterday added solid play.

The Manchester 8th grade volleyball team scored a come from behind victory against a tough Indian Springs Stars team on Thursday, September 25th. Set scores were 24-25, 25-8, and 15-2. The 8th grade record is 3-2. Kelsey Eichenauer, Emma West and Kasi Casper served 4 aces. Halie Wampler added 2 aces. Wampler also tallied 7 kills, 2 assists and 1 dig. Casper added 6 kills, 1 assist and 2 digs. West contributed 1 kill and 5 digs. Eichenauer, Kennidy Lauer and Anna Osborne each had 1 kill. Osborne and Greta Auler had 5 and 1 sets, respectively.


The Lady Squires travel to Southwood on Saturday, September 27th for the Southwood Tourney.
