Southwood JH Volleyball Splits With North Miami

The Southwood 7th grade Lady Knights continue their winning streak, upping their season record to 15-1 as they beat North Miami 25-20, 22-25, 15-6.

Leading the VolleyKnights in service points were Allison Steele with 11 points and 6 aces, MaKenna Pace with 9 service points and 6 aces, and Kayla Mays with 7 service points and 3 aces. Erin Lehner led the team with 5 kills and Hally Sweet closing in behind her with 2 kills, MaKenna Proffitt with 1 kill. Allison Steele had the lead in assists with 3. MaKenna Pace lead the team in digs with 3, MaKenna Proffitt with 1 as well. Cerenna Eakright stepped up tonight with 1 dig in the backrow as well.

The Knights B team also beat North Miami. Leading the team in kills were Jayda Barnum and Jaeden Younce with 1 a piece. Britaney Bailey and Kirsten Pescenye led the team with service points and aces, both with 5 service points.

The Southwood 8th Grade Volleyball team fell to North Miami on Wednesday. Jessica Brubaker had 1 dig; Alissa Pershing had 4 service points, 2 kills, 1 ace, 1 dig; KASSITY Simpson had 9 service points, 5 assists, 7 aces; Keagan Simpson had 3 service points, 1 kill, 1 ace, 2 digs; Trinidy Wyatt had 3 kills; Paige Young had 5 service points, 3 kills, 1 ace, 1 dig; Kirsten Pecsenye had 2 service points, 1 kill, 1 ace, 1 dig; Victoria Holloway had 1 dig.
