Southwood JH Falls To Riverview

The Southwood 7th grade lady knights fell to Huntington Riverview in three sets 25-17, 23-25, 13-15, making their season record 15-2.

Kayla Mays led the knights in serves with 11 service points and 8 aces. Close behind was MaKenna Pace with 9 serves and 5 aces, and Britaney Bailiey with 8 serves and 3 aces.
MaKenna Proffitt led the team in kills with 4. Kayla Mays had 2 kills and Erin Lehner had 2 kills as well. Madison Johnson and Hally Sweet both were on the board with 1 kill a piece. Allison Steele led the team with 7 assists.
Leaders in the backrow were Kayla Mays and MaKenna Pace with 5 digs each. Madison Johnson and Erin Lehner each had 3 digs, and Allison Steele, Cerenna Eakright and Britaney Bailey each had 1 dig.
Jayda Barnum got in on the action as well last night, helping out defending the front row.
