Southwood Wins Battle Of Junior Highs

The Southwood 7th grade volleyball team raised their season record to 20-3 as they defeated Northfield 25-11, 25-15.

The Southwood 8th Grade Volleyball Team traveled to Northfield Tuesday, October 14th. Southwood won 25-24, 25-21.

Jessica Brubaker had 2 service points, 3 kills, 3 aces; Noell Gottschalk had 3 kills, 2 digs; Alissa Pershing had 12 service points, 1 ace, 2 kills, 1 dig; Kassity Simpson had 4 service points, 3 assists, 1 ace; Keagan Simpson had 4 service points, 2 aces, 1 dig; and Paige Young had 5 service points, 1 assist, and 1 dig.

For Northfield Hope Unger had 10 good passes, 13 digs, and 4 kills for the night. Sidney Prater had 6 attack attempts with 1 kill. Caleigh Holmes had 3 kills and 7 attack attempts. Erin Proebstle added 4 serving aces. Kirsten Light had 3 digs and 5 good serves
