After losing their first game of the year Thursday to Culver, the Wabash Lady Apache basketball team rebounded at Southern Wells Saturday, defeating the Raiders 48-41.
The first two quarters were polar opposite of each other, with points coming at will in the first and hard to come by in the second. With an up and down pace in the first quarter, when the dust settled the score was tied at 21. It was just the opposite in the second with a combined 7 points being score as Southern Wells led 25-24 at the half.
Wabash would come back to win the third quarter 10-7 to grab a 34-32 lead, then held off the Raiders in the fourth 14-9 for the 48-41 final.
