Apaches Fall To Ole Miss In Overtime

For three quarters Tuesday the Wabash boys basketball team was in the drivers seat, leading by 9 after three quarters before a Mississinewa fourth quarter comeback forced overtime with the Indians pulling out a 54-53 win over the Apaches.

The Apaches came out clicking in the first, out scoring Mississinewa 16-7 and led the Indians 24-17 at the half.

The Apaches would build on their lead in the third, winning the quarter 15-13 to lead 39-30 with a quarter to before Mississinewa made a comeback in the fourth, tying the score at 45 to force overtime. Mississinewa would win the overtime 9-8 for the 54-53 final.
