Lady Apaches Win 8th In A Row

The Wabash Lady Apaches extended their win streak to 8 games Tuesday, winning on the road at potential sectional opponent Lewis Cass 50-38. Wabash now has a season record of 14-3.

Wabash won all four quarters with Cass making things interesting in the fourth. The Apaches led 15-12 at the first stop and 32-23 at the half.

The Apaches extended their lead to 10 points after three, leading 42-32, but the start of the fourth things got tense for Wabash. The Apaches couldn’t find the bucket as Cass started to chip away, cutting the Wabash lead to 42-38 with 4:21 to play. A scoreless stalemate would happen the next two minutes as Wabash still led 42-38 with 2:02 remaining. The Apaches would then break free, out scoring Cass 8-0 the last two minutes for the 50-38 win.
