Knights Suffer Heart Breaker Loss In Sectional Final

The Southwood baseball team resumed sectional play Monday at Wabash, needing to hold off an Oak Hill rally that started Saturday when the rain hit. The Knights were up 6-4 when play was halted and that’s where the game started Monday.

With runners on first and second Knight pitcher Brennan Kelly would get out of the jam without giving up another run. The Knights would score three more times in the game while giving up a couple for the 9-6 win and would then face Lewis Cass in the championship.
