Lloyd Headed To Jackson

Southwood grad Jacob Lloyd signed hit letter of intent to further his baseball career at Jackson College in Michigan next season.

Lloyd was selected first team all county and first team all conference as a catcher for the Knights this past season.

Here is our question and answer with Jacob

  1. What made you choose Jackson ?

I love the feel up in Jackson, the coaches and the guys are all really great individuals and I’m excited to start my studies.


  1. Will you see playing time right away or have to work your way to a starting job and will it be catching ?

I will have to work extremely hard, but I could potentially be a core player.


  1. What will you study at Jackson ?

I’ll be majoring in allied general health, which I’m praying will transfer over to nutrition/exercise science eventually.



  1. What are your plans after college ?

I want to become get my license in nutrition and personal training and become a personal trainer, or a lifestyle coach.
