Lady Squires Fall To Valley

The Manchester volleyball team fell to Tippecanoe Valley 21-25, 18-25, & 18-25 Thursday.

In varsity action, serving aces were led by Binkley with our only ace of the night.  Kills were led by Carter with 13 followed by Binkley with 11.  Additional kills were had by Day with 2 and rounded out by McKee and Eichenauer each with 1.  Carter had the only block this evening, a solo block.  Auler led in assists, dishing out 23.  A. Osborne and Carter added in an assist as well. Digs were led by Carter with 12, Auler and Binkley got up 8 a piece, Casper had 6, West helped with 5, Eichenauer with 4, Day managed 3, and both A. Osborne and Wagoner added 1.
Coach Haynes ”Great play tonight being down a starter due to injury on our varsity team. Tipp Valley is a good team and we played well.  Sometimes you can be happy while losing and tonight was one of those nights, we played well together and that’s all I can ask of them”!
The junior varsity fell to Valley 25-22, 16-25, & 13-15.
For JV, serving aces were led by duo Rosen & Fields with 3 each, Lauer contributed 2, while Wagoner & Casper added 1 each.  Casper led her team in digs with 6, both Wagoner and Fields helped with 4, West got up 3, Rosen 2, and Wampler grabbed 1.  Casper also led the team in assists with 7 and Wampler contributed 4. On offense, Lauer was your leader in kill with 4 followed closely by pair Rosen & Wampler with 3 each.  Auler and Fields each put away 2 to round out the team.
