Manchester JH Volleyball Gets Road Wins At Maconaquah

The Manchester 7th grade volleyball team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 25-19, 25-20 win at Maconaquah on Thursday, September 17. The team was led by Morgan Parrett who had 9 points, 1 ace and 2 digs. Karen Jimenez added 7 points on 3 aces, 2 kills, 4 assists and 2 digs. Ali Sites had 4 points, 3 aces and 2 assists. Roma Kaur had 3 points on 2 aces and 1 assist. Zoey Ream had 1 ace and 3 kills, Eva Bazzoni had 3 kills, and Aubree Lambert had 1 kill and 1 dig.

The team is in action next on Tuesday, September 22 at home against Edgewood.

The Manchester 8th grade volleyball team continued their winning ways by defeating the Maconaquah Braves 25-24, 25-21. Leading the way for the Lady Squires were: Sarah Pegg 7 service points with 2 aces and 2 digs, Lydia Greer 5 service points, with 1 ace and 2 kills, Ranissa Shambarger 4 service points, 2 aces, 1 kill and 1 assist, Mackenzie Day 4 service points with 1 ace, 3 assists, 2 digs and 1 kill, Bailey Mooney 2 service points with 1 ace and 3 digs, Andrea Kahn 1 service point and 1 dig, Kyrsten Eakright 4 kills and 1 assist, Rebekah Pyle 2 kills and 1 dig, and Gabbie Brewer with 1 assist. The Squires record is 4 – 0.

Manchester hosts Edgewood on Tuesday, September 22 at 4:30 p.m.
