After a terrible start, down 9-1, the Wabash Lady Apaches fought back and played a tight game all the way into overtime, until Courtney Haynes drilled a 15 footer with 1 second to go to give Eastbrook the 42-40 win Wednesday.
After the slow start the Lady Apaches trailed 9-4 after the first quarter before coming back to out score the Panthers 11-4 in the second quarter to lead 15-13 at the half.
Wabash would extend their lead in the third by a point, winning the quarter 12-11 before Eastbrook made up the deficit in the fourth to force overtime, tied at 36 before the buzzer beater in O.T.
Leading Wabash was Jaycee Parrett with 12 points. Madison Barden added 10, Bailey Yoakum 8, Katie McCauley 8, Kristin Cromer 2.
The Wabash JV won 31-28.
Leading scorers were Abby Vinopal with 12 and Kiley Stone with 6.
