Tippecanoe Valley remained undefeated in the Three Rivers Conference with a 67-26 victory over Southwood on Saturday night.
The Lady Vikings placed three girls in double figures, shot 45 percent from the field which included hitting 7-3’s and were 14-19 from the free throw line while also wining the rebounding battle 38-26..
Southwood was led in scoring by Taylor Heath with 9 points while Kassidy Atwood added 6 points. Makenna Dawes and Brooke Elliott both chipped in with 5 points while Morgan Farr added a free throw. Atwood led the team with 7 rebounds and Elliott made 4 steals.
The Southwood junior varsity fell to Valley 57-21.
Leading the Lady Knight’s was Kassity Simpson with 9 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, & 2 blocks. Others that contributed for the Lady Knights were Alissa Pershing 8 points, 5 rebounds, & 1 steal; Olivia Adams 2 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 steals, & 1 block; Sara Ceciarelli 2 points & 4 rebounds; Makayla Bechtold 1 assist, & 1 steal; Jessica Brubaker 2 rebounds & 1 assist; Kyrstin Gouveia 2 rebounds, 2 assists, & 1 steal; and Nika Richter 1 steal.
