Northfield senior Braydon Schindler signed his letter of intent to further his golf and academic career at Indiana Wesleyan University next year.
Schindler, last years conference champion was a state qualifier after finishing runner up at the sectional and winning the regional before finishing 51st at the state.
Schindler led the Norse to a 16-1 record last season with the entire team coming back this spring.
Braydon said he chose IWU because ” I want to go into Nursing and IWU is the top school in the state for that”. Schindler continued ” God gave me a gift to play golf and it was a calling from him to attend Indiana Wesleyan”. Schindler added ”I hope to make the top 5 as a freshman, but it will take a lot of hard work”.
IWU coach Austin Conroy added ” It’s a huge adjustment for a freshman. It’s tough to crack the top 5 on a competitive team, but Braydon has the work ethic and will work hard this summer to try and do so”.
