Slow Start Cost Apaches

The Wabash boys basketball team got off to a very slow start Tuesday, trailing 19-4 after the first quarter before falling to Eastern 57-48.

After falling behind 19-4 after one quarter the Apaches dug even a deeper hole by losing the second quarter 17-10 to trail 36-14 at the half.

The Apaches would regroup at the half, coming out on fire in the third and put up 14 points while holding the Comets to just 3 to close the gap to 39-28 with a quarter to go. Wabash would also win the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough in the 57-48 loss.
