The Wabash baseball team gave up a run in the fourth inning which would end up being the only run scored in the game as they fell to Oak Hill 1-0 in sectional play.
The Apaches flirted with falling behind early as the Eagles had two runners on in the first and one in the second. Wabash didn’t get their first hit until the third when Justin Beauchamp singled to center.
Oak Hill would plate their lone run in the fourth. A hit batter, an error and a single scored the unearned run.
The biggest threat for Wabash came in the bottom of the seventh when Treavor Floor led off with a single and was followed by a Jordan Burnsworth single before a foul out, a fly out and a strike out ended the game.
Jordan Holley took the loss on the mound, giving up just 5 hits and no earned runs. Justin Beauchamp led the Apaches at the plate with 2 hits.
