Wabash Little League had two coaches pitch games Monday. In the first game the B and N Design White Sox hosted the Ford Meter Box Reds. The White Sox Manager Kevin Leming wrote: “In the 2nd to last game of the season for the White Sox, they took on the Reds tonight in game 1. After 2 innings the score 3-1 Reds. On another strong defensive effort the White Sox kept the game close with 2 assisted double plays by Kenyen Weeks and 2 tag outs on throws from the outfield at third base by Drake Samuel. Down 7-4 going into the bottom of the 5th inning and the time limit running out, the White Sox fought valiantly pulling out the win on clutch hits by several players. With 2 outs and a man on 2nd and 3rd, Kenyen Weeks hit the game winning RBI. White Sox win 8-7. Kenyen and Wyatt Bucher went 3-3 from the plate and Ty Leming was 2-2. It was a complete team effort showing great heart and determination.” Jacob White and his two big hits to the outfield was the highlight for the Reds who normally hit a lot better than they did tonight, but tonight belongs to the White Sox winning 8-7. Leming quoted ” It was most awesome”. The second game of the night we seen the B Walter & Co Inc Red Sox hosted the Dairy Queen Cardinals. For the Red Sox Coleson Kugler made 5 defensive stops and added 3 RBI tonight and Alec Oswalt hitting a double and triple. For the Cardinals Body Sorg came through big with three great plays at second base. The Red Sox win the game 10-5 with a big last inning.
