Tuesday Coaches Pitch

There were two coaches pitch games at the Field Of Dreams Tuesday. The B and N Designs White Sox hosted the Troxel Equipment Dodgers in the first game of the night. The White Sox report: “Chugga Chugga Choo Choo… On a beautiful night for coaches pitch baseball, the Dodgers and White Sox played an incredibly exciting and hard fought game. Although there were several good defensive plays by both teams, this game was about scoring runs. The visiting Dodgers took a 13-10 lead going into the bottom of the 6th inning. The White Sox then tied it at 13 sending it into an extra inning. Not to be discouraged, the Dodgers came out hitting and scored 5 runs in the top half of the inning; taking an 18-13 lead. But, like the Little Engine That Could, and a second night in a row, the White Sox scored 6 runs for the win; 19-18. Kenyen Weeks went 4-4, Ty Leming, Drake Samuel and Chase Baker were 3-4. The game ball went to 6-year-old Cayden Amburgy, who also went 3-4, but had the game winning RBI with 2 outs! Congrats to both teams on an outstanding game. It was “Most Awesome!”” The Dodgers manager also reported: “Zion Mcknight inside the park home run Talan Baker clutch 3 run triple without errors to put team back ahead in 6th inning. Rocky Judy double play pop out and tagging 1st. White Sox win in extra innings 19-18. The F.O.P Angels hosted the Ford Meter Box Reds in the second game. The Reds reported “Cash Laferney got a big triple, and got the game ball. Carter Winget had a home run. Kameron Seeley had a nice catch on 3rd base. With the win 11 to 5 putting us at 11&3 on the year” The Angels reported “Tuesday night CP action between the Reds and Angels. The Reds played solid defense holding the Angel to few attempts at the plate. The Angels were lead by game ball winner SIMON WEBB that had two solid at bats and was focused on defense.” Reds win 11-5.
