Wabash JH Volleyball Sweeps Columbia

The Wabash Middle School 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams hosted Columbia Middle School Thursday night. Both lady apache teams came away with wins in 2 set matches.
Wabash 7th grade improved to 3-2.

Wabash 8th grade improved to 5-2.
Statistics for Wabash 7th grade:
Emma Cain- 9 service points, with 3 aces, 2 digs, and 1 kill.
Patience Collins McPherson- 1 serve reception and 2 digs.
Kendra Wiles- 10 service points, with 3 aces, 1 serve reception, 5 digs, and 1 kill.
Brook Westendorf- 4 service points, with 1 ace, 2 serve receptions, 3 digs, and a block.
Kaitlynn McKernan- 3 service points, with 2 aces.
Kasey Long- 9 service points, with 2 aces, and 1 assist.
Kaydence Collins- had 2 serve receptions and 2 digs.
Kalista Ballschmidt- 1 assist
Ellen Mckenzie- 2 service points, with 1 ace, 1 assist, 2 kills, and 1 serve reception.
Kiersten O’Neil- 1 serve reception and 2 digs.
Wabash 7th grade was coached tonight by volunteer coach Rob Kastner.

Nici Gunderman- 5 service points with 1 ace, 3 kills, 7 serve receptions, and 9 digs.
Olivia Lindsay- 4 service points, 4 serve receptions, 3 digs, and 6 assists.
Alivia Short- 13 service points with 3 aces, 2 serve receptions, 1 dig, 3 kills, and 2 blocks.
Brooke Bowling- 1 service point and 2 digs.
Kandon Pries- had 15 service points, with 1 ace, 3 digs, 2 serve receptions, and 1 dig.
Madi Lutz- 2 service points, 2 serve receptions, and 1 dig.
Kyndal Fields- had 1 service point, 7 serve receptions, and 9 digs
Mariah Wyatt- 2 kills and 4 serve receptions.
Kylie Brumley and Jordan Stumbo each had 2 kills.
Wabash 7th and 8th grade volleyball will be back in action on September 6th at 5:30 pm at home. 7th grade will play first with 8th grade game to follow.
