Apaches Defend Home Turf Against Maconaquah

The Wabash football team looked to keep their season recored unblemished Friday as they played host to TRC opponent Maconaquah, defeating the Braves 14-0

The first quarter went scoreless before the Apaches broke the ice in the second quarter when Sammy Hipskind connected with Justin Beauchamp on a 74yd scoring strike to give Wabash a 6-0 lead at the half.

The third quarter was much like the first as the score was still 6-0 heading to the fourth. The final score of the game came for the Apaches when Cody Beeks picked up a Mac fumble and races 67yds for the touchdown with under a minute to play. Eryk Weber ran in the two point conversion for the 18-0 final.
