It was a long day of volleyball for the Manchester Lady Squires Saturday as they played in the Leo Invite. Manchester faced several tough teams and played well despite not getting a win for the day. The Lady Squires fell to Leo and Central Noble in two sets to be placed in the bronze pool, then fell to New Haven and Lakewood Parke in three games.
For the day, Carter led the team with 17 kills, Day collected 14, Rosen followed with 10, McKee put away 8, Osborne had 6, and Wagoner ended with 1. Auler dished out 35 assists with some help from teammates: Carter with 3 and McKee with 1. Auler also led in aces with 10 for the day, next was West with 4, Carter with 2, while Osborne and Wagoner collected an aces a piece. Carter led with 41 digs, West close behind with 37, Auler saved 19, Wagoner 12, Day with 11, Casper 10, Rosen helped on 8, Hatfield managed 2, and McKee rounded out with 1. Osborne led at the net in blocking with 2 solo blocks and 2 assist blocks, Carter was right there with 2 solos and 1 assist block. Day had 2 block assists while the following ladies contributed a single block assist: Rosen, McKee, Auler, and Hatfield.
