The Manchester boys soccer team played host to North Miami Wednesday in a winner take all game. With both teams tied at the top of the TRC standings coming in to their last conference game the winner would be the champs.
North Miami would draw first blood with 8:37 left in the half when Gonzalo Morales found the back of the net. The Squires would respond just two minutes later when Caleb Stout fired a shot past the goalie as the score was tied 1-1 at the half.
It looked as though the Squires would strike early in the second half when Harley Kruschwitz scored with 37:40 left but was called for off sides. Kruschwitz would redeem himself though, scoring with 30:33 left, then again with 11:36 on the clock with the Manchester defense holding the rest of the way out for a 3-1 win and a TRC championship.
