Apaches Suffer Road Loss At Valley

The Wabash boys basketball team went on the road to Tippecanoe Valley Thursday, getting a good start and trailing by just three after the first quarter before a tire went flat in a 61-31 loss to the Vikings.

The Apaches trailed just 13-10 after the first stop before the offense started to struggle. Valley out scored Wabash 14-8 in the second as the Apaches trailed 27-18 at the half.

The third quarter is one soon to forget as Valley went off for 25 points while holding Wabash to just 4 as the Viking lead grew to 52-22 with a quarter to go. The two teams played to a 9-9 tie in the fourth for the 61-31 final.
