Apaches Sputter In Third-Fall To Rochester

The Wabash Apaches played host to Rochester Friday, leading at the half before struggling in the third and falling to the Zebras 62-58.

Wabash got off to a great start and led 18-13 after the first stop before Rochester cut the Apaches lead to 29-27 at the half. The Zebras would continue their run in the third, out scoring Wabash 19-10 to grab a 46-39 lead. Wabash would make a come back in the fourth that just fell short, winning the quarter 19-16 but losing the game 62-58.

Luke Mattern led Wabash with 25 points that included shooting 64% from the field and 90% from the free throw line.
