Apache Defense Responds In Second Half At Blackford

The Wabash Apaches went on the road to Blackford Saturday and trailed at the half before the defense went on lock down in the second half, holding the Bruins to just 12 second half points in a 62-43 win.

Blackford would give Wabash all they wanted in the first half as the Apaches led just 14-13 after the first stop. Blackford would then out score Wabash 18-13 in the second quarter and led the Apaches 31-27 at the half.

Wabash would regroup at the half with the defense dominating play in the second half. The Wabash offense fed off the defense as the Apaches won the third 17-6 for a 44-37 lead, then won the fourth 18-6 for the 62-43 final.
