The Wabash baseball team traveled to Twin Lakes Friday and had a 3-2 lead in the top of the sixth before giving up 10 runs in the bottom of the inning in a 12-3 loss.
The Apaches would plate a run in the first when Kaleb Kelsheimer led the game off with a single before being doubled off on a line drive. With two outs Robert Irgang would single and was followed by a Kory Fuller single. Kallen Kelsheimer then doubled home Irgang for a 1-0 lead with Fuller being thrown out at third.
Twin Lakes would score 2 runs in the second to grab a 2-1 lead before Wabash evened the score in the third. Kaleb Kelsheimer would single and advanced to third on a Trenton Daughtry single. Fuller would then walk to load the bases with one out. With two outs Jared Holley would draw a walk to force home Kelsheimer to make it 2-2.
The Apaches would take the lead in the top of the sixth when Kallen Kelsheimer was hit by a pitch. With Kelsheimer on second after a ground out, Clayton Floor would single home Kelsheimer for a 3-2 lead. In the bottom of the inning Twin Lakes would collect 4 hits and take advantage of 3 walks and 2 errors to score 10 runs before holding Wabash in the seventh for the 12-3 final.
