The Wabash baseball team trailed Whitko by one run heading to the bottom of the seventh when
The Apaches would grab the lead in the bottom of the second with a two out rally. With two outs Clayton Floor would reach on an erorr and was followed by a Reese Samons walk. A botched pick off attempt at first would allow Floor to score, giving Wabash a 1-0 lead.
Whitko would score twice in the top of the third with Wabash coming back in the bottom to tie the score. Trenton Daughtry would lead off drawing a walk before stealing second, then advance to third on a passed ball. Kory Fuller would then single home Daughtry to make it 2-2.
Whitko would plate 5 runs in the third for a 7-2 lead with the Apaches cutting into the lead in the bottom of the inning. Floor would lead off with a single and was followed by Samons reaching on an error. Justin Beauchamp then doubled home both runners to make it 7-4. With Beauchamp standing on third, Daughtry would fly out to center with Beauchamp tagging up to score and making it 7-5.
In the bottom of the fifth Blake Gribben would reach on an error and was followed by a Floor walk. With one out and runners on second and third Beauchamp would single to score Gribben to make it 7-6. A Kaleb Kelsheimer bunt single loaded the bases before a ground out left Beauchamp scoring on an error. Robert Irgang then single home Kelsheimer to give Wabash an 8-7 lead.
Whitko would come back to take a 9-8 lead in the sixth and held the lead until the exciting finish. In the bottom of the seventh with one out Kaleb Kelsheimer would reach on an error and was followed by Daughtry doing the same. Irgang would follow suit reaching on an error to load the bases when a Fuller single scored Kelshimer to make it 9-9. Kallen Kelsheimer would drew a walk off walk to force home Daughtry, giving the Apaches a 10-9 win.
