Norse Win JV Battle At Wabash

Northfield made the quick trip to Wabash Tuesday afternoon for a JV baseball game. The Norse would jump out to a 1-0 lead in the first as Jeremy Okuly reached on an error scoring Graydon Craig. The Apaches would counter with four runs in the bottom of the inning. The Norse would keep it close until they rallied for seven runs in the fourth and added five in the fifth for the 14-4 victory. Okuly and Levi Fulkerson combined to throw a four-hitter as the Northfield defense played it’s best game of the season. Okuly and Fulkerson also lead the offense. Fulkerson had two hits and scored three runs. Okuly added a double and three RBI. Cameron Johnson doubled and Michael Ford singled while each scoring two runs for the 7-5-1 Norse. The Norsemen will visit Ft. Wayne Wayne Thursday at 5:30.
