The Wabash baseball team led 2-0 heading to the 7th Monday before giving up three runs in the top of the inning in a 3-2 loss to North White.
The Apaches would get plate a run in the first. With one out Kaleb Kelsheimer would draw a walk before stealing second. With two outs Kory Fuller would single to center, scoring Kelsheimer for a 1-0 lead.
Wabash was looking to threat in the fifth when Jared Holley singled before being picked off at first. Reese Samons would follow with a double before a ground out ended the inning.
In the sixth the Kelsheimer brothers, Kaleb and Kallen would each single before a Fuller sacrifice put runners on second and third. Robert Irgang would then ground out to second, scoring Kaleb Kelsheimer to make it 2-0. The ninth Wabash ground out of the game would end the inning.
Things went south for the Apaches in the top of the seventh when North White loaded the bases with no outs after two errors and a hit batter. The third error of the inning would allow 2 runs before a single scored the third as North White led 3-2. Wabash would go down in order in the bottom of the inning to suffer the 3-2 loss.
