Sixteen Manchester University spring student-athletes receive HCAC all-academic honors

NORTH MANCHESTER, IND. – A group of 16 Manchester University student-athletes earned spring all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tom Bohlsen academic honors with the full team’s release Monday, May 22.

The Spartans’ honorees, by sport, were as follows …

Men’s Tennis – Connor Eichenauer, so., North Manchester, Ind.; Kyler Love, jr., North Webster, Ind.

Men’s Outdoor Track and Field – Thomas Dean, sr., Bremen, Ind.; Alex Gudeman, sr., Rochester, Ind.

Women’s Outdoor Track and Field – Sarah Arney, sr., Fort Wayne, Ind.; Tiffany Harber, sr., Columbia City, Ind.; Olivia Jenks, jr., Elkhart, Ind.; Annie Jondle, so., Elkhart, Ind.; Mariah Jordan, sr., Fort Wayne, Ind.; Jamie McBride, so., Elkhart, Ind.; Jenny Pudlo, jr., Crown Point, Ind.; Samina Qureshi, so., Columbia City, Ind.; Ruth Ritchey-Moore, sr., Bryan, Ohio

Honorees are varsity athletes and have to have at least a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average with the GPA recorded at the end of the semester prior to the completion of the spring competition season. Student-athletes must have completed the equivalent of a full academic year, full time enrolled, at their institution to be eligible. The award’s name honors Tom Bohlsen who served as the HCAC’s first commissioner from 1998 to 2008.
