The Wabash MS 7th Grade Volleyball Team traveled to Columbia MS on Thurs. Aug. 31st and won a 3 set match 25-7/22-25/15-7. The 7th Grade Lady Apache Volleyball Team Record is now 7-2.
Ashlynn Cruz led her team in Digs and Service Receptions, with (7) each. She also had a Kill and (9) Service Points, including (4) Aces. Allianah Lopez had a team high (12) Service Points, including (10) Aces. She also had a Kill, an Assist, a Service Reception, and (5) Digs. Libby Mattern had (8) Service Points, including (4) Aces, an Assist, (5) Digs and a Block. Emma Tracy had (7) Service Points, including (4) Aces, an Assist, (4) Digs, and a Kill. Jade Stumbo had (4) Service Points, (2) Service Receptions, a Dig, and (3) Blocks. Olivia Harden had (2) Digs. Kahlani Locklear had (2) Digs. Maddi Inman had a Service Reception and a Block. Sidney Stamper had a Dig and a Service Reception. Tatum Vigar had a Service Reception. Hannah Layne had a Service Point.
The Wabash MS 7th Grade Volleyball Team will travel to Oak Hill HS for their next match on Thurs. Sept. 7th. The 7th Grade match will start at 6 p.m.
The 8th grade Lady Apaches traveled to Logansport to compete against Colombia Middle School. They Apaches defeated the vikings in two sets. The scores of the games were (25-17)(25-21). Patience Collins had 8 serve receptions. Brook Westendorf had 3 serve receptions. Kasey Long had 2 serve receptions. Allie Coon had 6 serve receptions. In digs Kaydence Collins had 5 digs. Karlie clark had 4 digs. Allie coon had 4 digs. Kaitlynn Mckernan had 4 digs. Patience Collins lead the team in assist with 6. Kaitylnn Mckernan followed with 4 assists. Kiersten O’Niell and Brook Westendorf each had 1. In hitting Brook Westendorf had 3 kills. Patience Collins had 3 kills. Kiersten O’Niell had 3 kills. Kalista Ballschmidt had 2 kills. Emma Cain had 2 kills,1 solo block, and 1 assisted blocked. Kaitlyn Mckernan assisted Emma in that block. In serving Brook Westendorf had 8 service points with 3 of them being aces. Patience Collins had 8 service reception points with 2 of them being aces. Kiersten O’Niell had 5 service points with 2 of them being aces. Ellen Mckenzie had 3 service points with 1 of them being an ace. Kaydence Collins had 9 service points with 4 of them being aces. The 8th grade lady apaches are now 4-5 on the season.
