The Manchester Squires boys soccer team traveled to Gas City on Saturday to play Mississinewa on their new turf.
It was all Manchester from the start. Noah Beck opened up the scoring with Nathan Self assisting. Harley Kruschwitz got the 2nd goal assisted by Dylan Brubaker. Kruschwitz also found the back of the net for Manchester’s 3rd and final goal in the half. It took the Squires around 25 minutes to adjust to the turf. In the 2nd half the Squires found the net 6 more times. Caleb Stout with 2 assisted by Nathan Self and Isaiah Davis. Kruschwitz, Beck, Fermin Guerrero, and Sam Reichenbach all scored in the 2nd. Nathan Self and Isaiah Davis had two assists. Justin Self, and Mathias McLaughlin had one assist in the 2nd. The defense of Logan Isbell, Kaidyn Alexander, Fermin Guerrero, Justin Self and Klayton Hendrix played great team D for 80 minutes. The Squires are now 8-1.
