Norse Gear Up For TRC Championship

The Northfield Norsemen racked up 390 yards on the ground and 128 through the air while holding Whitko to just 201 total yards in a 64-6 win over the Wildcats.

The Norse would score early an often in the first half. In the first quarter Matt Coe would get the first score on a 12yd run to grab a 7-0 lead with 8:21 on the clock, then score with 1:56 left in the quarter on a Kyle Reed 41yd scamper. With 31 seconds left in the quarter John Schuler found pay dirt from 5yds out as the Norse led 20-0 after one.

Just 42 seconds into the second quarter Coe would score from 9yds away before Kade Kennedy would catch a pass and race 45yds for a touchdown and a 34-0 lead. With 5:02 left in the half Levi Fulkerson would hook up with Coe for 83yds as the lead grew to 41-0. Coe would score one more time in the half from 45yds out as Northfield led 48-0 at the half.

In the third the Norse would go to Cole Rosen in the backfield and Rosen responded with a 45 and 29 yard touchdown runs for a 61-0 lead after three.

In the fourth Graydon Craig would kick a 30yd firld goal for the Norse final score in a 64-6 win.
