The Manchester Squires won their second straight game, defeating once beaten Rochester 28-26 Friday
Rochester would get the lone score of the first quarter for a 7-0 lead, then crossed the goal line with 11:57 left left in the second to lead 13-0. The Squires would break the ice with 9:38 left in the half when Delton Moore scored from 5yds out to make it 13-7. Rochester would answer the Moore TD with 5:33 left to open a 19-7 lead before the squires mounted a drive with Hayes Sturtsman finding Devon Rooney for a 16yd scoring strike with 1:03 left to make it 19-14 at the half.
Manchester would grab their first lead in the third quarter. Sturtsman would hook up with Trey Clark on a 65yd passing TD as the Squires took a 21-19 lead with 6:55 left in the third.
With 5:40 left in the game Sturtsman would strike again, this time to Andrew McAtee for 55yds as the Manchester lead grew to 28-19. Rochester would get on the board with 2:34 left in the game to make it 28-26 with the Squires holding on for the thrilling win.
