The trio joined junior Jamie McBride (Elkhart, Ind.) to register a fifth-place finish in the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay at Ecko Pool. Kell came back with similar residences in the 100-yard backstroke (1:07.94) and 50-yard freestyle (27.16), while Blystone clocked a 1:09.34 in the 100-yard butterfly to end third, and Clark’s 6:01.25 in the 500-yard freestyle placed her fourth.

MU’s first five endings didn’t stop there, though. Junior Mikki Goetz (Highland, Ind.) (13:12.03 – 1000-yard freestyle); McBride (3:00.02 – 200-yard breaststroke); and the quartet of Goetz, senior Megan Erwin (Attica, Ind.) and freshmen Kaitlyn McCloughan (Columbia City, Ind.) and Saidie Wickersham (Cutler, Ind.) in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:59.63) also added in.
