The Southwood Knights traveled to Oak Hill Tuesday, jumping out to a 23-11 first quarter lead before the Eagles came roaring back and defeated the Knights 76-71 in overtime.
On the back of Carson Blair who had 14 points in the first quarter the Knights raced out to a 23-11 first quarter lead. Things settled down in the second with the two teams playing to a n 8-8 tie and the Knights leading 31-19 at the half.
Oak Hill would cut in to the Southwood lead in the third, out scoring the Knights 19-15 before taking advantage of some Southwood missed free throws in the fourth and forcing overtime. In overtime the Eagles would take advantage of their height and Southwood foul trouble, winning the OT 16-11 for the 76-71 final.
