Apaches Hold On At Eastern

The Wabash Apaches traveled to Greentown Tuesday and defeated the Comets 54-51.

The Apaches got off to a great start and led 12-4 after the first stop, then built on the lead in the second to lead 28-18 at the half.

Eastern would make a run at the Apaches in the third, cutting the Wabash lead to 38-35 before the two teams played to a 16-16 tie in the fourth.

After hitting 14 three pointers against Eastbrook on Saturday, the Eastern rims were not as receptive as Wabash went 5 of 12 from behind the arch.
