Spartans win three of four to begin spring

WARSAW, IND. – Manchester University received substantial contributions from its upperclasswomen and underclasswomen groups Sunday, Feb. 25.

Senior Erin Cordill (Zionsville, Ind.) picked up where she left off in the fall, rolling in straight sets to her ninth victory of the season in singles. The Black and Gold added the remaining team tallies behind freshman Karly Eichenauer (North Manchester, Ind.) in singles, in straight sets, and Eichenauer and freshman Avis McGovern (North Vernon, Ind.) who picked up a doubles’ decision. Even with those positives in tow, visiting Alma College of Michigan claimed a 6-3 decision.

Manchester University resumes its brief spring slate Thursday, April 5, hosting Bethel College of Mishawaka, Ind.
