The Wabash Lady Apaches played in a triple header Saturday, falling to Oak Hill in a double header 11-3 and 17-4 before losing to Peru 14-3.
The lady Apaches needed to make up some game time from rain outs as did the other two teams, so Wabash played Oak Hill in a double header with Peru and Oak Hill playing next before the Apaches ended the long day playing Peru.
In game one Wabash fell to Oak Hill 11-3.
The Lady Apaches would take a 2-1 lead in the second. Bre Sewell would lead off with a walk and was followed by a Hannah Halverson one out walk. Kelsie Olinger would then single home Sewell to tie the score. With two outs Taylor Mettler would reach on an error with Halverson scoring for a 2-1 lead.
Oak Hill would lead 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth when Wabash would plate a run on an Alivia Short single that scored Halverson to make it 4-3. Oak Hill would score 7 runs the last three innings for the 11-3 final
In game two Oak Hill led 9-0 in the third when the Apaches scored 3 times. Short would double home Olinger before an Osborn single scored Bailey Yoakum. Katie Newman would then walk with the bases loaded for the third run.
Wabash would score one more time in the fourth when Kamden Pries singled home Olinger.
In game three the Lady Apaches would score all three of their runs in the first inning. Newman would single before a strike out and a sac bunt. With two outs Halverson would single home Newman. Osborn would follow with a walk before a Short single scored Halverson and Osborn for a 3-1 lead.
Peru would then score 12 runs the next four innings for the 14-3 final
