NAPERVILLE, ILL. – Manchester University placed two events in the individual top 10 to wind up their performances at North Central College’s Dr. Keeler Invitational Friday, May 11.
Sophomore women’s distance standout Hannah Wappes (Columbia City, Ind.) zoomed into the top 40 of the NCAA Division III performance list, re-setting a school record in the 1500 she initially claimed the weekend prior at Indiana University’s Billy Hayes Invitational. The mark put her eighth in a 70-competitor field.
The second first 10 effort for Director of Cross Country and Track and Field Brian Cashdollar’s squads occurred in the men’s sprints. Senior Harrison Hollis (Lebanon, Ind.) crossed the line in 11.08 seconds, good for fifth place.
MU concludes the 2018 regular season Wednesday and Thursday, May 16 and 17, returning to North Central College for another attempt to rise on the national list, joining the men’s and women’s fields for the Gregory Invitational.
