The Manchester Lady Squires went on the road and handed Rochester their only conference loss of the season, defeating the Zebras 6-5.
The Lady Squires would jump on the Zebras in the top of the first. Emma West led off reaching on an error before an Allie Sites single put runners on first and third. Sites would steal second before West scored on a wild pitch. Kiera Stacy would then single home Sites for a 2-0 lead. Rochester would plate a run in the bottom of the inning to make it 2-1.
The Zebras would get a two run home run in the third to take a 3-2 lead before the Squires came roaring back in the fourth. With one out Sydney Day would single and was followed by a Torina Runkel walk. Mattie McKee would follow with a walk to load the bases before Lydia Greer was hit by a pitch to force home day to make it 3-3. West would then hit into a fielders choice with Runkel scoring to put Manchester up 4-3. Sites would follow with a fly out to center with McKee tagging up to score for a 5-3 lead. The Zebras would score a run in the bottom of the inning to make it 5-4.
The Squires would score a solo run in the fifth when Sydney Day drew a one out walk. With two outs McKee would single home Day for a 6-4 lead. Again Rochester would answer with a run to make it 6-5.
The Squires would threaten to add some insurance runs in the seventh when they loaded the bases with no outs before a strike out and a double play.
