The Wabash cross country teams opened their seasons Saturday at the Norwell Invite.
With a limited squad competing the Apache boys battled to a 2nd place team finish.
Individually the Apaches grabbed the top two spots as Zack Reed and Dereck Vogel went 1-2 in the race. Blakely Cole (8th), Caleb Callahan (18th), and Aaron Nickerson (21st), Ethan Kocher (35th), Ben Hewitt (40th), and Ethan Berry (68th) rounded out the rest of the individuals.
Unable to score as a team, the Lady Apaches were able to compete as individuals with 75 runners in their race. Senior Whitney Working came in 27th with a time of 25:22. Sierra Hall, a sophomore, came in with a time of 27:22 and crossed the line in 41st place while Camille Kugler, a junior, finished in 66th place with a time of 31:27.
